Need good AS2 tutes

Hey I use Flash 8 professional, I just do programming sometimes and i usually make animations on flash, but i was thinking of starting actionscript and making games

So, if anybody knows any website with GOOD tutorials for making games, then plz do post and thank u. I use AS2 so plz dont tell me about AS3 tutes, and what is the earliest version of flash that has AS3?

I would seriously recommend Action Script 3.0 instead of AS2.0 - it's a much more mature language and the changes are considerable, makes code manageability easier.

yeah shybers rite AS3 is the future of action scripting so if you are starting AS then go for AS 3
google is your friend in finding tutes for almost everything literally...but if you need some sites then check out flashkit and tutorialized.com

thanks, but i have flash 8 and it doesnt have the AS3 option which flash shud i get that has AS3, i tried download(for free) flash cs3 (cudnt find cs4) and it says i need to register, i try to register it says an error occured and that i can activte by phone, so wat shud i do????

If you have a programming bg then AS3 should be your choice. AS2 is quite old now. May be you can find Flash in the market.

Dont know about books or sites though. Never did much AS2!
