i think its better to upgrade to a single gtx 980 ..

Single Card solution is always better.
GTX 980 would be a tremendous upgrade from kepler 780. you will feel a moderate to high difference in performance. these days prices keep on dropping, i guess you can find it under 50K used and new is for 63500/- PKR Galaxy.

If you can manage your overall budget, then try getting 3TB once and for all. because it will be a long run investment. otherwise 2TB still good for storage for future games.

Hybrid actually better in speed and gives little bit faster result compare to Typical internal Hard drives.

In terms of loading, installation and speed

SSD>SSHD>HDD

But seagate is pretty good these days, even normal hard drives are delivering quite consistent results. not as good as SSD but still acceptable.

Have a 980, though maybe you will have more power with x2780s', but should or could cause problems with the SLI.
