Hello everyone,

I have been out of the country for a few years and not been in touch with hardware prices in Pakistan. I have a Lenovo Y-50 gaming laptop in excellent condition which I want to sell (Gtx860M, Core i7, 8gb RAM, 1TB HD and 1080p touchscreen) when I come back to Karachi in next month. The reason I want to sell it is that Black Friday is coming and I want to buy a new laptop before I return to Pakistan. However, I am not sure how much I would be able to sell this laptop for in Pakistan. Currently, my budget for a new laptop is $500 plus whatever I might be able to sell my current laptop for when I return. I would appreciate if someone can give a rough idea of how much this laptop would go for if I want to sell it quickly? Also other than the PG marketplace and OLX, what would be the best way to sell it? Are there any physical shops that would buy a used gaming laptop?

Thanks

Lenovo 15.6" Core i7 4th Generation Laptop Price in Pakistan | Buy Lenovo Laptop (Y50-70 - 4720HQ) | iShopping.pk
if the laptop is in excellent condition u can sell it for more then 80k -90k..
and there are plenty of shops in Lahore where u can sell it..
but if i were you i will not sell it on shops coz most of em r rip offs and will not pay more then 50 or 60k
i would recommend to sell it here on pg or olx.

p.s im not a laptop expert better wait for expert opinion:p

You'll have a hard time selling the laptop for what it's worth. I have the same laptop, I'm selling it you can check my thread in my signature and been getting quite stupid offers.

Thanks. That is what I thought too. I had a similar price in mind as your demand but people want to buy used laptops for peanuts.

I was doing same but if you have older than 3 years then it will be very cheap plus if you search new one with integrated graphic card it will be around RS40,000 assuming 8gb ram and 1tb hard disk.
I bought my laptop over 30k and now i don't think anyone will take it 10k :(

To be honest its better to not sell your laptop because you will not get what its worth. People here wont pay this amount for a used laptop when they can go for a new one (although lower specs because they dont know). I know this is weird but this is how it is here.

Yes, this is the best option. Listen, on a piece of paper, write its specs in good handwriting and stick on some bookshops after permission. InshAllah it will be sold.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
