[NBA] Western Digital Passport Ultra or Seagate Expansion

Which one is better? Design wise Seagate Expansion is slimmer than Western Digital Ultra and performance is also better than Western Digital Ultra. I want to know about durablility?

I use Western Digital My Passport Ultra External drives. Never had an issue with them.

As for the speed, you won't notice much difference in this matter since data writing speeds massively fluctuate during the copy process in real time. Synthetic benchmarks don't tell you everything.

Used WD passport 1tb portable HDD for almost 3 years now. Absolutely no issue at all. Sony burnt down within 7 months but the replacement one is working till now. Never used seagate so can't comment on that. I will be getting another 2tb Portable WD drive soon.

1 GB and 2 GB.

I got 1 GB drive in 2012 and 2 GB drive in this year. Both work well.
