[NBA] Urgent advice on console for kids

Its sort of a last minute thing......need help from fellow pgers......had to provide a birthday gift to my cousin.....was thinking of buying him a console.......I dont know the current trend in the console market so need advice...

I was thinking of buying Nintendo WII....the motion sensor will be a shashka, so definately want that...... Need advice for choosing which console...... XBOX one, PS4 or WII U.......... which has better usability for motion sensing games......Dont need high graphics games......

Please advice me for buying the console and if possible guide me to any shop in islamabad pindi region from where I can get reasonable rate on consoles.... PS Its urgent so cant buy from PG market place..... Need it in a day or 2.....thanks in advance.

[MENTION=9276]saqibdb[/MENTION] I would suggest asking the kid himself in a way that he can't immediately tell what you may be upto. The last thing you want is getting him something he might not be wanting; perhaps he wanted a Wii U like some of his friends and you got him an expensive PS4.

His age is also a factor along with his interest in the kind of games he plays and which consoles he has played on so far. Could you possibly share those three? Otherwise, if I were to choose one that wasn't too high end and didn't cost too much either it would be a handheld: PlayStation VITA. I could give you better advice if you can answers hose three questions, though.

I understand that you have opted to buy from a local shop in Rwp/Isb but I implore you to not buy from there since quality and price are not a guarantee with these shopkeepers. There's ToyLand in Super Market, Kiran Electronics at 6th road, Rawalpindi. However, I implore you to buy your console and games from Amaga (premium seller) here on Pakgamers. The guy is trustworthy, has quality stuff at best prices AND delivers products the next day to Islamabad/Rawalpindi.

A Hacked PS2/PS3 along with 50+ Titles will be a good starter package. A PS3 should cost anywhere between 30-40k along with Pirated titles, PS2 will cost almost half than PS3 (probably 15k along with Pirated Game titles) But I doubt you will be able to get it brand new.

Why not introduce classics, find an NES or SEGA or Nintendo 64bit along with some games and introduce to real games we grew up with.

Thanks for the advices once again........ I already bought a ps3 with move controllers....... The reason was I am more prone towards giving the child an opportunity to have physical exercise while playing games with motion controls.......
In my view they shouldn't sit on couch all day and play games.... but should have fun with their friends and other czns with motion controllers......
