Which one is better?

My budget is 25k, i was in full mood of buying the J7 until i used A5, i must say the build quality and looks are premium, they are not even close to J7. But i have heard/seen (review videos) that J7 is better performance wise.

I just fell for A5s appearance, my question is that is spending 5k extra worth it? or i should stick to J7?

The J7 is better performance wise. Newer chipset and it just feels snappier, my friend has one and I was quite surprised that Samsung managed to pull off a very decent mid range device.

Don't fall for the looks of the A5, it's not even that nice. My dad has the 2016 A7 and it just looks more like a square S6 to me. Nothing too special.

But a5 has 1080 screen and j7 has 720. I have used J7 the screen is not that impressive plus it does not have any nitification led.

At the end of the day everthing depends on your budget and what best possible option you have in that budget. You may like the A5 2016 but it isnt really in your budget, cheapest without warranty is like 32, 000. I dont know what the price of J7 is. J7 is entry level and A5 is midrange with a premium price. J7 1.5gb ram which is very low to run a phone effectively. These are my opinions and fellow posters dont necessarily have to agree with them.

Just a small correction, OP is asking about J7 (2016) which has 2GB RAM. The old model has 1.5GB.

The J7 also has a newer Snapdragon 616 chipset over the older 615 on the A5.

The 1080 screen on the A5 and A7 aren't that great to be honest. Colours are horrible.
I've seen way better 1080p displays on other phones.

The J7 is fine for normal use.

murtaza12 Does the A5 2016 come with exynos or the 615 in pakistan. I thought you told me that the A5 2016 is more likely to be exynos in Pakistan the other day?

Depends on what variant the OP gets.
There are 2, one is Exynos and the other is SD.

The locally sold one with official warranty is Exynos, the ones without warranty are with Snapdragon.

murtaza12 no worries. I was thinking of getting the one with warranty. Does the exynos make the phone any better in performance compared to the 615 or the A5 2016 sucks no matter what?

Sorry for not replying to this earlier. I had to go to school lol.

The Snapdragon one gets relatively warmer under load, the Exynos surprisingly doesn't. I have used a 2015 A7 (Snapdragon 615) and a 2016 A7 (Exynos 7580), they're both great, but the Exynos one is still better.
