[NBA]need suggestion about graphics card in maximum 14k budget

Assalam o alaikum Here are my pc specification.asus p5gc mx 1333,core 2 duo e8400,3.5gb ddr2 667mhz ram,500 watt psu.now i want to buy graphics card.gtx 550ti or gtx 650.i want to know is my pc enough for these cards or there will be bottleneck problem?in this case i,ll buy gts 450 or gts 250.so suggest me gtx 550ti or gtx 650 and if there will be bottleneck gts 450 or gts250 or any other good choice.resolution 1280*1024.(i dont care card is dx10 or dx11.and plz dont suggest amd graphic cards)

Yes there will be a bottleneck if u get a good gpu,i would advise a 7750, it will be better than both the 250 and 450 and its new for 11k i think.

Go for GTX 650. Do not worry about bottleneck. E8400 is fast enough to handle all the GPU that you mentioned.

No. GTX 650 is better choice.

That would be due to E8400 not being a quad core processor. Many new games can benefit from quad core processors.

GTX 650 cannot be faulted in this case.

i dont want to waste extra money if gts450 and gtx 650 will give same performance due to bottleneck.and if i change my motherboard for ddr3 ram will it make difference?

it wont make a huge difference and dude gtx450 is not available in ddr5 if it is get one but unfortunately it is not so get 650. if u really wana go to ddr3 platform get h61 mobo any brand and get g620 :)

It is available in DDR5,and a g620 will not b a logical upgrade over a core 2 duo,i3 210 will be much better.

i know it isnt but at stock speed g620 smokes e8400 but if u are an overclocker u should stick with e8400 with a better ram.

Better to go with 7770, e8400 is powerful enough to handle a mid ranged cpu..............
and moving just on a ddr3 mobo wont make any difference.............

You can go for hd 4870 or hd 5770 but hd 4870 is beast card and you had good psu you to run it both are better than gts450 and gts250 : they can be easily handle by e8400

Why not a 7770? It's more powerful than a GTX 650 and it won't bottleneck.
