Firstly apologies, I can't seem to figure out the tags option to label this as a NBA topic.

Asalam-u-alikum everyone!

I wanted to delve into PC gaming and needed some advice on getting a decent / good PC put together. After some 3 hours of searching for parts online I have absolutely no clue what I am doing hence my topic here. To make it easier, I am looking for something that can easily handle the witcher 3 level games at high or ultra settings. In addition my My budget is around 60K and I have about 20K reserved for a good graphic card (i believe the R9 fits this category but even that has multiple iterations).

Aside from this I have no idea what to do with the other parts or where to get them from. Any info on which parts to get and what would be the best place to get them from would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Wait if you can. You didnt mention clearly that your total budget is 60k out of which 20k is reserved that leaves you with 40k or you need new componets ya used. You cant get rig in 40k so im assuming tou have 60k for components other than gpu having said that check below specs also 20k is not enoug you need atleast 26k for gtx960/r9 380.

1. Processor >i5 6400@21500 czone
2 . Motherboard >asus z170 k@15499 beegeek
3. Noctua nh d15s@8299 beegeek
4.Gskill ripjaws 5 2400@8899 beegeek
5.corsair vs 650w@6400 galaxy

Total is 60597. You can opt for low end motherboard i chooosed asus z170k its a descent board you can swap your i5 6400 with i5 6600k or i7 6700k and overclock to get more performance. Other option is gigabyte d3h its about 9k.
You can swap noctua cooler with cm dx/t212 for about 4200 saving here as well and buy case with that money

I don't mind waiting, what would be the benefit though? :)

Apologies 60K is my total budget out of which I've reserved 20k for a GPU. I have no qualms about purchasing 2nd hand parts or older parts as long as it gets the job done as I can slowly upgrade components once I have the final rig.

Anyways thank you for your input i feel that its a bit outside of my range though. Would it be possible for me to cut a few corners without sacrificing too much performance wise?

Skylake price will come down. Qouting galaxy only i5 6600k droped to 29k from 32k and motherboards yave also loose about 1 to 2k.

Well in 40k then you can get haswell below are estimated max prices.there are many for sale on pg.
Pro> i5 4590 @16k / i5 4690k 18k
Mobo > asus z97k/gigabyte z97 hd3@8to9k H97 will be cheap
Rams> 16gb gskill/vangance/hyperx @ 10to12k
Psu 600watish@2k

Make a thread in market with wtb and list parts you want with price you will pay or leave it on nego when some one contacts. Goodluck

And performance wise no big difference between devils canyon/haswel/skylake

He didn't require to buy these items from shop. He can simply buy these from a well reputed PG premium seller and can save 15000rs and even more.

Thank you so much i'll be sure to do that soon! One last thing, what casing should I get? I was looking for something that is cost effective but does not compromise on air flow.

If you can mod then get Chinese case and mod it to your liking. Or get corsair 200rish/cm n400ish for about 3k from og if can find Or graphite 230t for about 4 to 4.5k awsome case with everything youll need. My choice would be 230t in low budget.

New is around 9k. I was speaking of used one. If you are looking for new then look at thermaltake [email protected] ,gigabyte gz g2@5k ,cm n400@6k and corsair carbide 100r@6k.

For good air flow options just c9nsider cm n400 and 100r,I'll recommend 100r in these cases.

Check out galaxy.com.pk amd beegeek.net
