[NBA] D5300 or D3300?

Well folks finally i have decided to go for DSLR. I have the budget to go for D5300, but is it worth to spend 23k more then D3300?
What is the main difference between these two?
And lastly this is my first DSLR, so what would be the better option?

D5300 is alot better but D3300 is not bad either for a beginner, I would suggest you should go for D3300 and learn to handle dslr.

yeah 18-55 is equal to like 3x zoom while 18-140 is 8x zoom.

D5300 is a great choice
A great idea...Use Kit lens as much as possible..also get a tripod...with a quality 18-140mm you will have to spend some decent cash...
The next lens should be a prime i.e 50mm f/1.8 or 35mm f/1.8 (cost around 10K) and it will give you most creative option

Yes i have budget only till D5300 with 18-55
which is decent enough for starters, and what is the purpose of 50mm f/1.8 lens?

my next step would either be 50mm or this 18-140mm

Thank you brother and I got it for 77,900... they were giving it with VR I 18-55mm so later on I traded that Lens with VR II 18-55mm from Digitronix
Both Camera and Lens have 1 year official camtronix warranty
