Hey guys I need to buy a phone for 15k. I want to know what would be best. Also its bootloader should be unlockable as I like to use root features.

P.S any recommendations for mobile phone service that gives best rates for Whatsapp, Facebook, Viber, etc on a monthly or pre-paid basis?

Those Infinix phones are available at really low prices on Daraz. Check those out.

If you're interested in used as well, Nexus 5, LG G3, Galaxy S5, to name a few.

All have unlockable bootloaders.



As for phone service, Mobilink. Best, by far.
They'll be getting LTE soon enough as well, plus their 3G is the best. So go for it.

Yes infinix are good phones for the price you can also get p8 lite in 15 16k used in warranty.. that phone looks good aswell.

Hey mate how is the dev support for the phones u I mentioned as I tend to keep phones for around 2+ years. Also I currently have a moto x 2013 rooted with cyanogenmod 12.1, I'm actually finding a phone for my sis, are any of the aforementioned phones better than moto x 2013 in terms of no lag, snappiness, dev support, battery life etc?

Well the Nexus 5 is one generation behind the GS5 and the G3.

However, on custom ROMs, all those phones are equally snappy and quick.
All have excellent dev support and battery life of the G3 is the best out of all three.
The Nexus 5's battery isn't something to brag about for sure.

ok so a G3 on say CM13 won't have lag issues that seem to plague the vanilla G3? Also anything that I should be looking at while buying any of the aforementioned phones, say bad batches, specific model no, LTE/3G support?

BTW have you played around with a G3? how was it? I'm spoiled by the vanilla lag less experience of my moto do it's really important

Not at all.
G3 is very powerful.
Few things to note before buying one though:

1) The 16GB one comes with 2GB RAM.
The 32GB one comes with 3GB RAM.

2) Don't buy CDMA phones (i.e: Verizon or Sprint).
In GSM you have the following options:

-) D855 (International) - Has LTE support

-) D850 (AT&T) - Has LTE support

-) D851 (T-Mobile) - Has LTE, but not Band 3 for Pakistan.

-) F400 (South Korea) - Has LTE support.

The F460 is the most powerful, however it has horrible Dev support. So don't bother with it.

I personally use LG G2 and I use it for gaming, watching movies, reading etc. It is one of the best phones I've ever used and has served me well. It has plenty of ROMs as well. I've tried many and I always end up with Cloudy G2 2.2. I play World of Tanks Blitz on it. It's a heavy game of over 2 GB in size. I get over 50 fps on it which is pretty impressive for such an old phones. LG G3 has a higher resolution and because of that, many games will give you low frames on it so please do keep that in mind.

There may be ways to enable Band 3 (LTE) on the D851, so if it ever comes to that, let me know and I can try a few things.

    It may win the "best visuals" category, but that's about it. A GOTY contender needs to nail all aspects (Story, Gameplay, Visuals, etc)

    BTW, i started Ghost of Tsushima, and it got me hooked within the first couple of minutes. I already know It's gonna be a memorable experience. This is how you make a proper Samurai game. Not that SJW game Ubisoft is making.

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.
