There have been many false alarms in the past, but it's actually true this time. They've already covered Phase 7 and 8 as mentioned on their Facebook page and coverage area list on their website.

I would post pictures, but I don't have any. Their van drives up and down my street, and other streets nearby. They've already done most of the work, all the cables are laid (at least in Phase 1), and they're working on Phase 2 right now.

So whoever doesn't have PTCL GPON yet in Bahria and are still suffering with their shit DSL, there will be a way out... soon enough.

If you do have PTCL GPON and are used to 100 Mbps, then don't get their garbage overpriced internet and opt for their TV instead, since PTCL's offering is well.... everyone knows how well SmartTV works.

Normally I've been seeing Nayatel staff working in Bahria and all the boards say "NTL work in progress" wherever they've dug up the pavement.

However, today near one of the fiber handholes, I saw a Transworld Home van with 2 TW staff members. Interesting.

Phase-5 was done before Ramzan actually - back in May. They laid down multiple wires with outing on almost every other house's lawn, not sure what's that about. They also laid a new wire in the same Nayatel ducting some days ago. Must have sent them three emails during this time to inquire about a possible date of launch here but they keep saying no services right now.

Transworld and Nayatel related by any remote chance?

At a different level, yeah. Nayatel gets bandwidth from TW.

Strange that TW was roaming around Nayatels unfinished fiber work here though.

Meh, I have been trying to pre-book their service since May and nothing. LOL, just sent another email... If possible, can you please confirm from them if they will be billing Bahria Town users as users of Islamabad Region or Rawalpindi and thus the additional Internet tax burden..... I had talked to one of their phone rep and I was told this area will be charged as Islamabad so no Internet tax but still...

Nayatel has been kicked out off sector F defence villas. PTCL giving free Gpons to the user if they want to shift.
dha has its own network here now that is with transworld.
PTCL is spreading really quick now as they have competition now, according to them they'll cover whole phase 8 in a month time.

Nayatel is only good for their TV as ptcls smart tv is a joke.

murtaza12 Is it coincidence that some of the man holes have been marked as TES. Just noticed those today in Phase-5. The work was done by Nayatel in whole area. TES never showed up here.

Nayatel in Phase-1? TES also in Phase-1 at the same time? Have they agreed to share the pipes/cables?!! Effectively meaning both will offer services.

Yup, same. All the boards here said Nayatel at work when the digging was happening. Only once did I spot the TW van roaming around Bahria.

I think this is exactly what's happening.

The competition is getting real in Peshawar because StormFiber have already have good coverage on the other hand fiberlink also have started deploying their fiber as per them they have coverage in Town and some parts of Hayatabad. And its good Nayatel also have started their operation here. More ISP more competitions and more choices.

I don't have exact idea but they're distributing pamphlets in Uni. Town and installed connections along Uni. Road.

Quick info: I called up TransWorld - they don't offer services in the specific sector of Bahria Pindi Phase 8 I will be moving to (neither do Nayatel), but they said that they offer TV services through DHA Teleman, and telephony through Nayatel.

Which could explain why you're seeing Nayatel and Transworld labels around Bahria.

These guys aren't offering their own in-house triple play services - it's single play, with the other two outsourced.

Transworld does mention TruTV on their website, but when I asked the sales guy, he also mentioned DHA Teleman running the TV, he didn't provide a channel list or anything, so I didn't subscribe, but the channels available on their own TruTV don't seem that bad, so if I call him again to inquire about it, I'll ask if I can get THEIR TV, and not through DHA.
