Didn't where to post so i thought this would be the appropriate section.I have been suffering from an issue with my PC for more than 2 weeks and don't seem to find an appropriate solution hoping someone would guide me to the best
of their knowledge.I build this PC in the last 10 days of ramazan and everything has been running fine until around 2 weeks ago, whenever i would start a game my PC would crash/restart within a minute or so.This would only happen when i would play the game.If the i use it for web surfing or even watching a movie,it wouldn't crash.When this started to happen frequently my intial reactions were that the GFX card has got some issues and since it's in warranty
shouldn't be a problem.But before claiming it i thought of testing it on a friend's PC. Surprisingly it was working fine and tested the card for around 15-30 minutes.
This led me to realize that it might have to do something with the RAM.However since my friend's pc has almost the same specs as that of mine, we interchanged our GFX cards and RAMS.My card and RAM were installed in his pc. Tested it at my place and the games were running absolutely fine.However when his card and RAM were installed on my PC the same problem was persistant.
At this point our attention turned to the motherboard (mobo) or the windows that was installed.I quickly reinstalled the windows (this time my GFX card and RAM were in PC) but the problem remained the same.Now ruling out the options of either mobo and power supply might be faulty.
Since they were also in warranty purchased at EaseTec (Techno City KHI).I took my complete PC over there.They took out the board GFX card,RAM, HDD and tested my pc outside my casing.SUrprisngly the games were absolutely running fine and tested it approx for around 30 mins
or so.EaseTec verdict mobo was fine and so the power supply.Because after 15 mins my PSU was also tested.
This has made me gone nuts!!! I need some advice as to what to do.Keeping in mind that my PC is connected to an AVR home theater i even by passed it and my voltage stabilizer but the problem persists.
Of course back home i didn't check it by taking out the whole system outside the casing but the guy at EaseTec did.I also even disconnected the casing Fans just to see if there isn't any earthing issues
or short issues.But the problem remained the same.Infact with the fans of the casing disconnected the game immediately crashes not even going to the menu screen.
I have run out of ideas.Everything was working fine don't know what happened. HELP & ADVICE NEEDED.
