PC My *HD* Game PiX Thread (Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood added)

NOTE TO THE MODS I know there is another thread here, made by yours truly. BUT that got a bit crowded with PrintScreen screenshots

OK so in this thread, i'll post game images taken with my cam. And yes, these ARE 'HD' images.
The LCD is an ASUS 22" VW222U.
The Cam is a Sony Cybershot DSC-W80.

The PC... You can see the specs on the left.

So here we go. I'm gonna start with, graphics-wise, the BEST game around on any platform, CRYSIS. Those who disagree can leave now.

The game is running at 1680x1050, 32bit color in the DirectX 9 mode.
Everything in-game has been set to HIGH.

hes running the game on high not very high
get a custom config file from the net

download and use this for me this was the best balance of game beauty and performance give it a try unless you have vista you cant run game in dx10 but these configs let you run game in dx10 emulation via a few simple tweaks

Finally!

Crysis @ 1680x1050 in DirectX 10 mode (via a software mod)
Remember, there might be minor differences here and there as this is not the OFFICIAL dx10 mode
It looks awesome though. There are some awesome effects that cant be seen in the DX9 mode. You cant see them in these screens though.

About the framerate... About 25-30fps. But its good. With the fan speed at 80%, the card doesnt exceed 60 C! Can overclock it with mods.

i have become a huge FAN of crysis

what a game yar ....i am playing at medium-high on 19" LCD at 1440*900 and i love this game both ways , graphically and gameplay

There is no DX10 in XP Im using a software mod for the game that matched the very high setting. Thanks to NiggaZombie for pointing me in the right direction.

Damn awesome Asim. If there weren't Gears 2 and Fable 2 on 360. I would have been severly tempted to switch over to PC gaming just for Crysis.

OK so here are a couple of shots i took just now. See in the Ultra High (via the software mod), the game becomes really hard for the graphics card to deal with.
My 4850 ran at 95 degrees for two hours straight. Remember, water boils at 100
Its an awesome lil card, designed for such temps. Once i increased the fan speed to 60%, the temp came down in a flash to 60.

OK so im now playing the game at a lower resolution, choosing NOT to overclock the card.
The game looks the same to me Plus this new level looks awesome.
