Its shocking and sad... i thought only males eat their kittens? Why would she do it? I've kicked her out of my house. Can't let her eat the other 4... but they can't survive without her either. Its a "With or without you" situation... help me? They are one-week old.

After searching about it on google, i came across some sites that the mother may kill her kitten if he is ill or has vital defects... but that poor baby looked perfect.

Mothers always eats thier kids when they are weak from delivering, thats why its important to feed after delivery.

I think a cat or any animal eats its baby only when she known that the baby wont survive long. Otherwise i have had around 20 cats at my home, and never seen the mother even fight with her children
