[SOLVED] Mobile data not working on some apps

Imma Pindi Boy!
I have Motorola Droid Turbo XT1254 Verizon model and I am using it on Mobilink Jazz. Everything including wifi is fine, all apps working but I face alot of problem while using mobile data.


It only works on WhatsApp and Google maps, I cannot even browse the internet because Chrome says no internet. I tried other browsers but I can only browse the internet using Opera Mini but that has also stopped now. I cannot even call a cab when I am outside because because "Careem", the cab app says that I am not connected to the internet.


The H+ sign appears when I turn mobile data ON and I have also checked with my network operator, there is no issue at their end. They say there is something wrong with my phone.


I don't know where to start the troubleshooting. Can anyone help pl? Thanks in advance.

Can you post a screenshot of your APN settings?
Sir you are my hero. I went to the APN settings and there was nothing there. I first reset it to defaults and then added a new APN by the name of Mobilink and everything is working fine now. Thanks alot man!

Lol the issue was that Verizon phones don't automatically populate the APN fields with required data and the user has to fill them in manually.

Yes thats what I was thinking that the APN field should be filled on auto whenever you add a new sim but that doesn't happen in Motorola. I have droid turbo, a friend has just bought Droid Turbo 2 and I asked him to check his 3G, he says its working fine but now I have checked his settings. He also does not have anything under the APN settings, its empty but still his 3G is working perfectly.
