Migrating database from Wordpress.com to your own webserver ?

first sorry for creating this thread at wrong section as i did intentionally to get some traffic mods can move it later once the thing is solved
sorry once again

i have a Query i made a Wordpress Blog / site
on free at WORDPRESS.com
i have a VPS now i have setup the Wordpress there i don't wanna create all those posts again is it possible i download the whole database (from wordpress.com host ) and upload it to my VPS (which i just created)

let me know if my question isn't clear

wordpress.com dont give access to cpanel they only provide wordpress panel

JUST FOUND THE SOLUTION

there is a option to export XML from wordpress panel
i exported that to xml which i was skeptical that it won't work how come such small xml can do thing :shifty:
well it did

then i went to my host where i created a new wordpress
installed the wordpress IMPORT plugin there
and put that XML there
which asked me to pull those images as well while importing i checked there and there you go whole thing loaded

though there are few error which i can iron out but it saved lot of time for me
