XBOX Microsoft "Little Big Planet is very cool"

The general manager of Microsoft's Game Developer Group stated: "I think they've definitely taken some concepts that we originated like Achievements, but I think they're pushing in a different direction and we've sort of fundamentally got two different approaches going on here."

"I think there is very much a vision that people see it and it looks cool but it's fundamentally separate from the games – or at least what they've shown so far. It's a cool world but it's like a little game by itself. Our approach is the other way around; it's that games are the center and that's the star of the show, that's what people buy the console for."

But even Microsoft can't resist Little Big Planet's wool-coated charm: "I think Little Big Planet is very cool," he said. "But I can't see a big portfolio of games at the moment that do this. I don't think there's a whole load to catch up."

according to reports , little big planet is AS OF NOW not exclusive to ps3. sony hasnt signed a deal yet , theyre still in negotiation.

its being made by the former lionhead guys and ms is probably hoping to use moleneux to lure them to make it multiplatform.

i'd say a pretty well far off demo built says 'were really far into negotiations' dont you think.

i can't find any place on the net which says that MM is 'owned' by sony, but they're more like insomniac, sony's funding the game littlebigplanet in question and the company considers itself a 'prominent sony partner'

i DID do a google search rafay, thats why i came to that conclusion. But like i said, sony is funding the damn game so i dont possibly see it going multiplatform to begin with.

mm was making the game before they even talked to sony and since theyre in negotiations with sony , theres a pretty good chance thats where it`ll end up. but what i posted before is probably true , ms is making a last gasp attempt.

well the only thing i could see is MS buying out Media Molecule otherwise i can't see any reason for the game coming to 360.
Most likely MS is already making a copycat game

actually the rumour pointed it to being MULTIPLATFORM , as in timed exclusive. its going to be released on ps3 , thats a given.
