technically speaking, EA is the publisher and 5 years is alot of time. No point in sinking more money in the game when the problems aren't necessarily fixable with more delays.

Yes but EA wont/shouldnt publish a title in this state. Putting a product in market which lacks quality and destroy a franchise - which they have built after number of years ? and how can you say "games problems arent necessarily fixable" ..who said they arent fixable ? a ND developer explained the under lying issues quite well and I think he also mentioned what shouldve/could be done..If I remember it was about fixing the threshold baseline animations.

Take the example of The Last Guardian, quite a failure given the hype and long developement period behind it and already cut down to $40. None of its problems would be fixed with more delays. They cant even get it to perform adequately even now.

Only if you got a physical copy on PS4 and Xbox One. Those who own it on PC will take it to their grave.

Man, when this game is good it's GOOD. I've fought 2 of those big transformer looking things, the Architects by now.

Also did Liam's loyalty mission, probably the best thing in the game so far.

When it's not good, it's like the gif CT posted. I've ran into multiple issues like falling through the world etc too now.

DF PS4 Pro vs PC 4K. Visual make up is close to PC running in native 4K and performance is better than OG PS4 and XB1.
[MENTION=24078]DarkLordMalik[/MENTION] that Dualshockers link definitely did something wrong with their PS4 Pro captures, I could immediately see their pictures were so blurry.

For 4K TVs:

- PS4 Pro Checker boards to 1800p upscaled to 2160p.
- Temporal AA reduces artifacts well enough.
- Output isn't quite upto native 4K but it still looks very close.
- Ambient Occlusion is close to PC's max HBAO setting.
- Slightly more refined depth of field (compared to OG PS4).

For 1080p TVs:

- Super sampling supported.
- High Quality DoF and Ambient Occlusion carried over from 4K mode.
- Essentially the same visual make up as 4K mode.

Performance:

- Pro 4K and 1080p have about the same performance.
- Targets 30 FPS and hard locked VSync so no Tearing unlike OG PS4 and XB1.

82 is a good score, great infact if the past games were rated much lower. Ten years of development, highly anticipated, $20 perma price cut in less than 2 months...not to mention fans worshipping Ueda , yeah, thats a massive disappointment if that sounds a little nicer. Please make the effort to finish the game. I say effort because between some non playable awe inspiring moments, is gameplay that is just a fucking chore. Pathetic controls and performance issues, its an exercise in frustration.

nah..it doesnt work like that.
They dont need to redo any animations or motion capture data (the biggest part of animation), instead just fine tuning an animation system, which doesnt require a 5 year development cycle.

Indeed, you'll probably have to replay some game you like to do away with the bad taste lol.

I'm playing Yakuza 0 atm, and it is so much better than this mass catastrophe.

You should definitely do the loyalty missions if you haven't, at least they got one thing right from ME2, the loyalty missions.

I've done them for a couple of the squad members and they're the best thing about the game so far.

That and this crazy moon planet where the gravity is so low you can practically fly everywhere.

I definitely will but not at the current price point with current issues..I will wait for a patch to address atleast some of the major faults..

That list proves absolutely nothing.This is a freaking PSN list. Also when did anyone say TLG was the best experience on ps4..infact it not making the cut only goes to show the awesome library of titles available on ps4..

what this guy said..dont follow the vids you see around the internet with cherry picked issues..if you call yourself a fan, you owe it to yourself to give the game a go and it may end up not living up to the expectations but it is by no means a poop game, 30hrs in and i havent even reached 50% completion and enjoyed most of what i have seen in these hours

My profile is the soldier perk but I'm seeing myself use the Biotic charge more often now. I have the POW which is weak as fuck but at least has infinite ammo and can get a healthy capacity with a few capacity mods so that works. I know I can use some Augs to get some other weapons on a heat sink system as well but I like the steady laser ray for constant damage.

i switch between Explorer and Adept, both level 3, based on the encounter. Added Overload to explorer along with Singularity and Throw. Incinerate, Singularity and Throw on Adept. This way i got Tech, Biotic and Fire combo as well as skills against both shields and armor.

A Remnant SMG with seeking plasma aug and maxed out Pistol skill

Bioware to announce something on the 4th. Probably ME3 extended ending style big-ass fixes. Too little too late IMO, most of us will probably be done with the game by then, unless they announce some real good free DLC in which case I can see holding onto my copy.

But sounds like a genuine attempt to fix what they can at this point. I mean, people made them change the ending of the trilogy, thats how dear the franchise is to the loyals and Bioware's willingness to cater to them.
