The tech demo was just that: a tech demo.. Much like using the free-cam in The Matrix Awakens demo (not a gameplay scenario) to prove that it stuttered on PS5. Necrokiller has learned nothing :ROFLMAO:
Funny you bring up the free cam, it just further proves that those speeds won't be attainable in a Matrix Awakens environment, if you can't even attain then in a massively inferior environment like in SM2.

Poor CerebralTiger's expectations of "enough CPU and SSD headroom" this gen getting shot down. Oh well, all eyes on the Pro consoles now. For CerebralTiger's sanity I hope it delivers on the misleading promise. Not like Nintendo can fulfill them anyway 🤷‍♂️🤣

Only "faster than the original Spider-Man during general gameplay" is needed for faster IO to benefit gameplay :LOL: 🤜

UE5 has seen several performance improvements and that demo running on an earlier version is no longer indicative of how it would run now :LOL:🤜

Not Nanite quality geometry and Lumen quality lighting, obviously, but massively inferior is overstatement of the century. Also, Spider-Man 2's CiTy is both horizontally and vertically dense, which is something I can't say for The Matrix Awakens.

lolwut? It's still infinitely better than SM games even if one things its weaker compared to the older games. All locations in SM games are set dressing at best. Interior locations are barely visited again outside of slow ass walking Peter sections or abysmal Miles/MJ segments. Exterior? Well, just a boring ass replica of a real world CiTy without any imagination or creativity to it. Insomniac's level design and gameplay is firmly stuck in PS2 era, whether it's Ratchet or SM 🤷‍♂️🤣

Spidey fans don't have any option tho so what're you gonna do? 🤷‍♂️🤣

That's a hold-to-confirm prompt, not hiding a load. If anyone wants to check, they can look at how late it's possible to cancel it out when they're playing.

Last month I brought up whether we should remove the hold-to-confirm, mostly to address that accusation we were seeing. But it was correctly pointed out to me that having a confirmation window was important for player usability, which at the end of the day is far more important than Internet cred points (even though we love our Internet cred points). :)

Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
