If Barack Hussain Obama can get Nobel Prize for Peace , and then go on slaughtering Arabs/Pakistanis creating ISIS ISL funding Alqaeeda around the world , then this is nothing compare to that

Only 2 people in the history of this country have won a Nobel prize and both have been shunned by the people of this country to one degree or another. Abdus Salam for being an Ahmedi and Malala for being a Jewish agent or something lol

Stay classy Pakistan :tv:
very well said Sir!!!!!!!!!:wink2:

Seriously guys, don't guys have anything else to do besides criticizing and coming up with conspiracy theories? Give it a break, man. If the nobel prizes are such 'frauds' as you call it, why're you getting so obsessed over it?
Obssessed? lol. I hardly give 2 sh*ts about Nobel Prize.

If you believe in this, then please do explain the basis of their price award to people like say, that Israli President.

Although on one hand I think that instead of having recognition in the world,we should improve the state of our country . But our image is so ruined to the outside world and this is the one of the few ways to improve it .

Things like Nobel prize only give you bragging rights. It doesn't "improve" anything.

Besides, if 'raising voice for girls education' was such a big act, i wonder what will it take for her to "DO" something about it. Oh wait, she can't. Because its not in her control.

P.S. I am in no way supporting the notion against girls education. The area she represents, i can understand why its important to have girls education there.

Wow Chhowni
This is one of the best articles I've read on the Malala issue. :clap

Malala's message is true, it is profound, it is something the world needs to take note of; education is a right of every child, but Malala has been used as a tool by the West. It allows countries like Britain to hide their sins in Afghanistan and Iraq. It allows journalists to report a feel good story whilst they neglect so many others, like the American drone strikes that terrorise men, women and children in Pakistan's border regions.
The Western savior complex has hijacked Malala's message. The West has killed more girls than the Taliban have. The West has denied more girls an education via their missiles than the Taliban has by their bullets. The West has done more against education around the world than extremists could ever dream of. So, please, spare us the self-righteous and self-congratulatory message that is nothing more than propaganda that tells us that the West drops bombs to save girls like Malala.

The target of this article isn't Malala. It is the agenda behind her.

Well kudos to her for being the SECOND Pakistani to get the prize.

My main problem though is how can they not give it to Abdul Sattar Edhi, it is just baffling. Really does shows you how credible the prize really is as even Obama got one.

Good news.

However, I suspect that Malala is likely to be used as a political tool by Western forces against Pakistan. Malala should concentrate on her objectives, stay away from politics and adopt Pro-Pakistani tone. We don't need another Benazir Bhutto.

Women are an oppressed gender.
I beg to differ.

This is a fact. Sure guys like Edhi and many other philanthropists/humanitarians might be more deserving of such an award but that doesn't mean we belittle Malala's effort to create awareness on important issues like girls right to education and women empowerment.
Sorry. Both men and women have the right to have education.
