I have a HP laserjet 1020. Before I had a desktop and the printer was shared on the network but now everyone in the house has laptops and the desktop is no more. So I need a solution to make it print wireless. I googled and found that the best way is to get a wireless print server. So now the question to hardware gurus is

Where can I get this? Which one? Price?

If there are any other solutions to my issue you are welcome to share.

If you have are using PTCL broadband just plug the CAT-6(LAN wire) into the router ,if not just plug it into any wireless routerand you are almost done.

Then go to Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound and then Devices and Printers, now you will see your printer and may be required to install the driver.(Basically use the exact same procedure you used to share the printer on the wired network.)

I did this with HP M1212nf MFP.
In this case the wired and wireless drivers were different so every time I had to select the wireless printer from the menu before sending the print command.

But that would require your printer to have LAN support..If your printer does not support network printing you can also dump your existing WIFI router and buy a router with USB and printer support like the TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND in this way you can upgrade your wifi router and get printing support without buying any other device

Yes but the OP said he used to share it on a network so I assumed it had network support.
I just looked up the model number of the printer and it does not have LAN support so the TP-Link router has to be used, a more expensive option but the only possible one for this model.

in my opinion, two best choices are
Tp-Link TL-WPS510U Pocket size wireless print server TL-WPS510U - Welcome to TP-LINK Rs 4.5k
Tp-Link TL-WR842ND Multi-function router TL-WR842ND - Welcome to TP-LINK Rs 3.1k

the 510U is only a print server, costs more..see its printer compatibility list to see if ur printer is supported

842ND is a preffered choice, I think..costs less and is more versatile than the 510u. Also has ftp, media server and support for external usb devices..plus its a full fledged wireless router with 4 LAN ports, 1 WAN port, multiple SSIDs and blah blah... I have checked the compatibility list of 842ND and ur printer is supported...

why I'm stressing on 842ND.... I have just bought it a few days back for use with my HP Laserjet Pro P1102. Initially, i was in a fix as P1102 is not supported by 842ND but supported by 510U... and my preference was 842ND due to reasons stated above, I even contacted Tp-Link support but they also said that it may or may not work... However, I proceeded with purchase and yes 842ND fully supports my printer. Very happy with the purchase
by the way, got it from AU Technologies as they offered 18 months warranty instead of the usual 10 or 12 months

None of the above, try finding a used BT home hub, thats an excellent router and can be configured as printer server. I have it configured since 3 years and works absolutely flawless.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
