I need a logo for my friend's new website it's about lahore but I thought only asking for it will not excite the community so hereby I am announcing a self held Logo contest where contestant will create some attractive, creative and good looking logos and will present here.

Judge: Me
Contestants: You (Anyone can participate)
Ending Date: 2 August 2012
Maximum Size: 290px × 73px

Requirements
Website name is mylahore (dot) org so logo should have this in it
Logo should represent the lahore for example adding Minar-e-Pakistan in it to tell the viewers that it's about lahore
Must be creative, not just adding renders of lahore's heritage and website name with good font will do the job.
Don't add real time picture in it. You should create a one yourself.
You should create and add a symbol/trademark like thing in it so whenever someone see that symbol or trademark they can know that this is "mylahore dot org"

You can create more than one logo but in given time limit
You can discuss about the logos and vote to them.
I'll judge the winner and it's possible that there is not a single winner (I don't want to face this situation but I didn't held any logo contest before so I can't estimate that how many talented logo makers will participate)

Someone I know is a professional logo designer but I know that we also have many professionals here at PakGamers. So it will be fine (INSHA-ALLAH)

How about a banner rather than a logo. the dimension you posted sort of restrict the creativity you can achieve with these sort of designs. If you allow i can stretch the canvas a bit but not too much, keeping in view the dimensions of the site.

Well you can, but with a bigger canvas, it could be much much better, wot do you say if i double the width and height. i looked at the website and that color blue doesnt go too well with the kind of city Lahore is. Its full of culture and heritage, i can do a banner, its going to make the mood of the website.

I'll add the slider where we will show the images of Lahore so it should be fine what I want is Logo like pakgamers have it's own
