LMDC Or FMH? Decisions Decisions...

AOA, kindly help me decide that if i get the option, should i opt for LMDC or FMH? Since i'll be living in the hostel and since LMDC has a much better campus and hostels etc, I am unable do decide.


Please help me out with this difficult decision asap. Thanks!

Fmh all the way

1: you can get private hostel in the near vicinity . That would be cheap too as compared to lmdc

2: fmh fee will be less . Expect diff of around 1-2 lac / year

3:campus is in centre Lahore

4:remaining

5: fmh merit is high and teaching hospital is good too

Both are good private medical colleges but I would recommend FMH.

Many of the reasons have already been mentioned by crase24

Some others based on my experience are as follows

1. FMH is one of the oldest and well established private medical colleges in Lahore. LMDC is relatively new one
2. Faculty o FMH is complete and consists of some very respectable names in medical sciences in Lahore
3. Location is a HUGE plus and one realizes this when one has to commute on a daily basis. FMH is located near to many other medical colleges, CPSP and UHS as compared to LMDC and this will matter a lot once you would like to visit other medical colleges for conferences or data collection for research.
4. The teaching hospital of FMH is better
5. FMH has the finest Rheumatology department of Pakistan headed by Prof Nighat Mir.

But as I said earlier, at the end of the day what matters is your hard work, focused mind and lots of prayers.

Once you get into a medical college , PM me and I will share some good resources for medical students
