Re-Flash the rom by doing following steps.
1: Wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik
3: Flash D801 Baseband - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407578482
3: Flash CloudyG2 2.2
4: Reboot and Enjoy.

are you sure it needs to be flashed on D801 baseband i have flashed on KK_Baseband_VS980 and select model number vs980 during rom installation
Well in your last Visitor message you mentioned D801. So i just assumed you have that particular model. In case of VS980. Just Flash KK_Baseband_VS980 before flashing.
Also tell me one thing. Have you recently OTA to stock Lollipop?
bro how do i update my sprint g2 to kitkat i tried OTA but it got quit mid installation update is downloaded on my phone
alright i have wiped system, dalvik, data & cache installed KK_Baseband_VS980 then CloudyG2 2.2 now more problems started to appear, boot looping it stucks on LG life's good logo keep on loading and loading nothing happens even after several minutes so i had to shutdown manually through power button...
Tried to boot 2, 3 times and get the OS in working position but no cellular activity mobile network option still grayed out installed what's app it says tablets are not supported lol what the hell is going on I would try another ROM currently downloading optimus g3 v1.4.1 based firmware
Well CloudyG2 2.2 gives problems while upgrading from JB based stock firmware. Just go back to stock using twrp backup if you did backup. Upgrade the stock rom to 4.4 using TOT/KDZ method. And try installing cloudyG2 after that.
Hmm same issues are happening with OptimusG3 V1.4.1 rom it got stuck in boot loop.
Now i have this file VS98024A.KDZ (ota update of kit kat 4.4.2) but the problem is not familiar with installing a rom through KDZ method

1. Screen Rotation not working
2. Knock ON feature not working (screen goes off from double tap but its not turning back on only by power button)
3. Motion sensor calibration crashing (unfortunately settings has stopped)
Wiped everything and installed LG-G2-VZW-OTA-VS98012B firmware for the purpose of going back to stock OS now what i have
1. Screen Rotation not working
2. Knock ON feature not working (screen goes off from double tap but its not turning back on only by power button)

Did you made a backup of your previous stock rom using TWRP ? IF so revert to stock using Nandroid. Might solve your problem. About your others questions.

Open dialer menu and type;
5689#980# (Sprint)
3845#801# (T-Mobile)
3845#803# (AT&T Canada)
3845#802# (International)
3845#800# (At&T)
3845#980# (Verizon)
And when hidden menu is showed up, go to "Settings"
and go to "Update Touch Firmware".
The touchscreen won't work until after 5 seconds, Wait for it and if touchscreen gets working, exit the menu.

I would be able to help you more if i was getting enough free time. Unfortunately I'm on a hectic schedule these days.
I have twrp backup of stock vs98012b v4.2.2 rom along with all its stuff data, system, cache & efs, restored it many times but it did not solved those issues i had with the phone now the situation is a bit worse i feel like hitting this phone with a sledge hammer
twrp is gone man and my device is now finally soft bricked i have flashed stock based v4.4.2 firmware followed by VS98024A_11.kdz with the help of LG Flash Tool 2014 everything ran fine during installation and the phone rebooted automatically but boot loop occurred the device keep on power on and off by itself now twrp does not exist anymore i only have download mode available...
Also i don't know why the hell i am unable to flash the factory rom of my device VS98012B_00.kdz the installer just finishes in few minutes and say process completed but nothing happens on the phone still booting on old rom that flashed before...
Now what's happening this action is keep on repeating:
LG logo appears after bit loading it reboots into maintenance mode then back to normal mode is there any way to fix this:geek2:

Dude you should've copied those nandroid files on your PC before flashing stock firmware. :S. Though its a good thing you can boot into download mode. Follow this guide. http://www.androidayos.com/2014/10/06/fix-bricked-lg-g2-stuck-logo-twrp-bootloops-download-mode/ It helped me once. It might help you aswell.

Thanks for your co-operation do let me know should I go with TOT method or KDZ method and which rom will be suitable there are lot of roms available for my device vs980
I prefer TOT method. KDZ will work too. And for me nothing beats CloudyG2 2.2 atleast for my D800.
