wow thts real high temps u got there......yea its pretty true, normal laptop get hot but notebooks with cards get much much more hotter.......i've had similar experiences with DV6 and Acer Aspire (which is my current own notebook).....well man some advices u really need to take.......first of all, these laptops need an Even surface to stand on....and Not on the Bed or like that......so the best scenario is to get a notebook cooler to place underneath the laptop.....but get a good one,i mean that there are many models and types......so u should probably get the one which has the fan more on the sides than the middle,as there is where the exhaust usually is locally.....This is like the only way to save ur laptop, before u totally fry it :p

oh i just read that ur already using an Antec cooler.......well then i guess u really need to service ur laptop.....maby some dust is blocking the heat from exiting.....and hence increasing the inside temps......

These Inspirion laptops have got very bad heating problem because Dell messed up their cooling. Better get another one instead, don't get Inspirion again.

It's a problem with your laptop specifically. Claim the warranty and ask them to replace the laptop for you. I have a friend of mine who owns the exact same laptop, and he has never had issues. DELL laptops don't heat up under normal circumstances. Yours is probably a defective piece.

Your friend is lucky then, i have seen a lot of people here reporting overheating issues with their Inspirion laptops.

Dell messed up the cooling solutions for this series. Everyone I know who has the N5010 series is having high temps.

You can find more on google and dell forums as well.

Either get a new laptop or buy an after market cooler
OR RMA your laptop if possible

Oh, and DEll laptops have had this problem in the past as well, but for a different range (the 51xx series)
