Lame excuse by PTCL for ptcl

PTCLCARES on twitter tweeted me saying my Play Store is routed through YouTube thats why it isnt working.
Where YouTube is blocked on all ISP's, how come P.S is working on others and not on PTCL.
Mods: don't lock this thread its a serious matter and PTCL is saying they have solved the matter from their side, now they say if its not working we should contact Google in this regard.

Because Google doesn't route all traffic through YouTube. If you're lucky you'll be connected to a hop that isn't being routed through YouTube.

Can you access playstore on your computer using DSL or any other connection?

I think Google wont change it for few users. How was P.S working before yesterday?

What's the big deal here sometimes when you login into your Google account (pc/cell) it go through(login to) almost all Google services including YouTube it goes through most of the times but sometimes we get a not found page error because of YouTube. So why are you so concerned it will get fixed like always, I'm on PTCL and my play store is working fine during the previous thread which is now locked in fact YouTube app is also working fine on my mobile but not on pc. Yeah sometimes i face connectivity issues with play store so what's the big deal I can use my phone, i can download app from alternate markets(1mobile). So my advice is if you wanna keep going on this path then buy a good VPN service because this issue is gonna be here for a long time.

Different mechanism to block and different return paths. Do keep in mind, this problem is dynamic in nature because google is dynamically routing the traffic (which is normal) and sometimes a few IPs from a prefix (PTCL) get routed through YouTube and causes connectivity issues and sometimes it doesn't.

PTCL has a huge amount of prefixes compared to what all other ISPs combined have.

I am not sure what's the case with other ISPs who get bandwidth from PTCL but pretty much they will have this problem as well.

Proper filters or not, the block shouldn't even be there in the first place.

I think Google won't take any action in this regard, so all we can do is tell our ISP to resolve the matter.

Edit: Just confirmed from a friend in PTCL, he said PTCL is having issues with their DNS Servers.

Not a DNS issue per say, sometimes it won't work on Google DNS as well.

Guys, please stop with the "Play Store not working" threads.

Its a problem which will be resolved by itself, and soon, hopefully. If you find it annoying then you may use a VPN.

P.S. Any more of the Play Store related threads about similar issue, will be trashed without notice.
