not really a good PSU but it'll do just fine for normal PCs.

I wouldnt risk a high end component on it though.

Oh and do keep in mind these have low life.

Hello Guyz,
I want to confirm if how many people are using CS650M PSU by Corsair and is it good for Mid end PCs and does and doesn't have any issue?
its very good powersupply and its 80+ gold certified modular psu.
This psu is all good for most of the midrange to highend pcs but it do depends upon your complete pc specs.
what are your complete pc specs ?

So I was right when my GS600 fried but it means this will be risky for my components? There is serious shortage of 600W range supplies here only Corsair and some Thermaltake are available.

Your GS600 was miles ahead of CS600M btw.
Like, WAY miles.

The caps on that were strong enough to last rough times for the longest time.
Compared to the chinese caps in CS600M which have a high failure rate compared to other ones.

Not only that, it has a pretty bad board management (3rd rate if you ask me).

And, forgot to mention, if this one dies. It'll go out with a bang or a smoke. lol

So the Thermaltake one will take the cake as compared to CS600M.

If you dont mind spending abit more.
I suggest you pay more and find yourself a RM600x (Make sure it has X) PSU, it has great build as well as some tough caps.

CS650M is more than enough for your PC my friend no need to worry about anything. your whole system would require a maximum upto about 350w of power and this powersupply is providing you with like 612w output so don't worry about anything. you are good to go with this one/
