is there a way to get PTA approved illegally

I bought a kit phone from start city mall saddar few days ago, he said just don't send imei (which my brother did) and if you get the msg he will pta approve my phone for 1200 Rs but when everytime i go to his shop it's closed i've been trying for like 4 consecutive days and when i tried of call him he started to argue me that he's gonna open his shop tomorrow or some other blasmathey.
so i wanna ask that its there a way to get your phone approved so cheap ?. or was he just lying about this ?

There are ways. Common method being used nowadays is by using the passports of labourers who are returning from Middle East, or people who are returning from Umrah trips.

The passport data is sold for a fee, and one free phone is claimed with that passport info.

There are many people involved in this, including customs officers and travel agents.

Someone registered his phone on my brothers passport
Contacted PTA and they said

Sir, there is a guy "Momin Awan" already register his phone against this passport
Sir, kindly make a hard copy of below documents:
Cnic, passport, immigration stamp, application to director typeapproval for misuse of passport in device registeration.
Please send necessary documents to block already registered mobile.

Feel sad for this guy because his device will be blocked and whatever money he paid for registration will be wasted.

how much i have to pay if want my device to get legally P.T.A approved since the shopkeeper from i bought ran away and ins't picking up the calls. : )

Register ur device on Dirbs website and they will tell u how much tax u need to pay.
