Developing games that can compete or even come close to looking like whats already in the market is not only a daunting task for newcomers but an impossible one (Resources/market feasibility/Resources/infrastructure/resources/know-how/commitment/skills/resources!). Just to get something like that pieced together, albeit the use of existing assets is a feat. First you need to have a demand, second you need the infrastructure that will support the cost of development for a game, which includes making sure the game is actually purchased and not ripped all over the internet which in itself is another problem. Other than that, yeah it can be done, get the right people together, set a time line and real commitment.... i'm in!
