Its Pre-2006m it IS an iPod Classic, its also known as an iPod Video because it can play video, the official name is still "iPod Classic".

lol are you serious? I'll give you an example.. there is iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS and 4.. it's the same product range called the iPhone. But you don't see a person having a 3G saying he has iPhone 4. Similarly, in your iPod there is iPod photo (4th Gen), iPod video (5th Gen) and iPod classic (6th Gen). Just because the latest Generation is now called classic doesn't mean yours becomes classic too.. yours is iPod video and that's what you should call it. Hope that clears this up.
