Unfortunate for them they bought some studios (Obsidian) which are still finishing up their current game, so it will be a few years before we start seeing meaningful output from their recent acquisitions.
Going by this generation Sony's first party is collectively incapable of making a first person shooter now, let alone a good one :hah: (unless you count ShadowFall as a good game lol)
Yeah, which is more the reason why they should bring back Resistance because that franchise has a lot of potential and presumably a good fan base that'll turn a new game into a success.
Resistance had a good ending with the third game, I would rather they invest in a new IP.
Though both their primary FPS studios (Insomniac and Guerilla) have found much more success making third person games. I doubt they're in a rush to go back to the FPS genre.
The placement makes sense because Remedy's gunplay mechanics are in another league compared to Naughty Dog.What about this one ?opcorn2:

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
