How to update htc one m7 at&t to kitkat

Okay so I'm on 4.3 I updated my HTC one some time ago using Odin I downloaded the file of the update htc official site and then used Odin to update now it's working perfectly fine on 4.3
But now I wanna update to kitkat and htc sense 6 idk any other method other then Odin Pls can anyone help me out
I never rooted my phone or unlocked it
It was already unlocked

ODIN doesnt work with HTC. it must be something else.

First unlock your bootloader via HTC dev

then flash recovery via toolkit

then get it soff

and change your CID from at&t to HTC UK

then you automatically get OTA update

Just a noob question here but
Is there risk of bricking?

There will always be a risk of bricking regardless of what you do involving custom installations. However, you can greatly minimize the chances of that by having backups (assuming you have a recovery capable of that like CWM, TWRP etc) and by carefully (can't stress this enough) reading instructions. Also, whenever you're doing stuff like this, try to look up in forums about it and see if there are any problems or issues with the current system; I didn't do that when I wished to downgrade to 4.1.2 from 4.3 and I lost my IMEI (EFS folder got corrupted).

I would really recommend you to visit xda... And follow the instructions there so that you don't make any mistakes
