How To Protect Yourself ?

I have been wondering that if armed mobile snatchers come what can you do to protect yourself as ;

Last week my friend's friend was shot dead as he didn't had any phone with him.
Then my friend was shot in leg cause he gave cheap phone to the snatchers
And last but not the least my cousin's friend had two phones one expensive (note 4 as he says) and cheap one, snatchers first took cheap one from him then asked again if he had another phone with him he said no then they searched him again (more aggressively this time) and found the second one then shot him and ran away :/.

Only two options came to my mind:

1- Keep a smartphone

2- Keep a licensed gun but then again either police/ranger will catch you and can file a fake case against you or snatchers won't let you pull out the gun

Keep This thread clean, no trolls, no thread crappers.

you give your smartphone to them and they won't do anything to you

and you can shoot on thief's leg AFAIK but a case will be filed against you if you shoot anywhere else

I think you cannot by anyway. What if you have Note 5 brand new and after grabbing it the snatcher shoot you?
Just try to remain safe. Use safe routes and time. Walk with other people, never get alone.


The only option is that government and law enforcement agencies should improve the law and order situation and snatchers must be tracked, apprehended and sent behind the jail for long time. Shooting on spot is also an option but it has its repercussions like misuse and abuse of powers. Some technological advancement may also be brought in that a used mobile should go totally useless for the culprits.

Does it works all the time ? even if the phone's off or the snatcher throws the sim off ?

i have heard if snatcher factory resets the phone the app will be gone.

Give everything up and pray to god they don't have an itchy trigger finger.

It sounds like a hopeless situation and it pretty much is. There is nothing you can do that guarantees your safety. Just try to be situationally aware and avoid getting caught in something like that in the first place, hard as that may be. Making things difficult for the snatchers will only provoke them more.

Usually there is only one person who is armed, if there are 2 snatchers on the bike, the passenger has one and the front one would most probably have his has hands on the steering.
But if there is only one guy, then ofc, there is no other.

but as u already said ...even they shoot when u give them a cheap ass phone..replica dene p to they would shoot and then shoot the dead body too

and for the tazer..it requires a recharge ..so aik dafa use kar k phr bhag jana is a better option
