Does anyone know how to download videos off youtube?

yeah, its really simple.. 3 steps..

1/ copy the url of the page your video is on.

2/ go to www.keepvid.com and put the video link there and it'll generate a direct link for you to save the file.

3/ download using any means you want, accelerator etc..


you'll need players which support .flv format to play them though.

there are other methods too like a plugin for firefox which helps download files, but i like the above method, easiest and it lets me use download accelerator.

here's a better alternative

qooqle vid ... no ADs ... and you can paste the youtube FLV links obtained from qooqlevid direclty to your downloader (unlike keepvid), so you can resume broken downloads and stuff.

I use VideoDownloader ,but then you will have to convert that .flv file .
