Okay, i bought a CCTV camera so i could see outside my house gate without having to get up and at night.

I dont want a DVR or any recording mechanism, only a live feed.

My question is how do i connect it so that it can be viewed on a samsung led tv?

I would like to wire it to the tv over coaxial cable then view it on the tv live.

Except there is some sort of unknown cable on the end ( You have to push and twist in to get it to lock )

Any ideas?

I would ask a CCTV guy, but the ones nearby charge extreme amounts just to install one camera, and the guys who do it cheap wont come as i live in the outskirts of lahore. Too far for them.

Since CCTV camera is taking analog input. Without DVR, you cannot put it right into the LCD. There are two ways you can do this
1. Buy a used Old monitor from some shop that has analog input
2. Buy a dany tv device or any other, this will convert the analog signal to digital and you can see it on our samsung LED

P.S I have video intercom installed in my home. The only downside is these are black and white video(Brand is commax i guess and costs around 5~7K) dont know rite now. Bought it 5 years back

I have CCTV connected through Coax to DVR and then onwards from the DVR to 5 different Monitors inside the house. There I use a DanyTV device to get output on all displays.

Sent from my Nexus 6

The samsung LED supports component and analog cable input, so analog/digital is no issue.
