Those playing in hdr should set the highlights setting to -8 (and if playing on an oled screen, the brightness setting to -2).
I am getting mine next week hope its a leap forward comparing with zero dawn.....trying to finish the frozen wilds DLC in the mean time
The game looks nice on PS4 but feels like an expansion of the first game, which I guess is expected on the same hardware.

46 hours to Platinum.
You don't need to do 80% of the bloat on the map for platinum and after a while I stopped. There's more map icons than your typical Assassin's Creed game, not the right lesson to have learnt.
Oh I only platinum the games I'm really into, not every game. These days I'm just focusing on one game at a time for weeks and want to get my moneys worth.
I can definitely second to that. The side quests of the game, especially the starting ones were very pleasant but they more or less morph into the same sort of fetch quests after a while. And there is just too much on the map which can be very distracting at times. I guess the best lesson they should learn from this game is that sometimes less is more. I loved the game nonetheless, they made some worthwhile improvements over the first one but there are things like the cluttered map that they should really really improve on for the next game.
I loved taking screenshots of this game.

makes sense as in my case I have so many games to play and there's not enough time plus there are other hobbies as well......

ahh I need to get back to this ..after elden ring goodiness, this feels almost clunky specially with the dumb climbing system. Horrible decision.

So, I have finally started this after Gow: Ragnarok!
First of all, it is the best frikkin' looking game this gen. so far! Hands down! No questions asked! Period!
Now, they have fixed it further & the performance mode especially is the preferred way to play!
Still pretty early in the game so can't comment on the gameplay as yet BUT the detailed characters & their facial animations are perfect! The story still felt kinda too dry & political for my taste but lets see!

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
