Hitman Absolution Black Screen

So I downloaded a JTAG based ISOrip of Hitman Absolution from a pvt tracker. Upon launching the game using xex menu; game starts up, shows a warning about autosave, makes me adjust the screen size and then black screen... nothing at all. I can still press the home button and go back to my dashboard.
Trying to dig up about it, read that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 had the same issue of the black screen. So I installed dashlaunch 3.04, it still did not work. Tried launching the game using dashlaunch 3.04's launcher by unloading the dashlaunch, did not work...
I am completely lost. Some help would be appreciated.

Note: I have not tried running COD:BO2 yet.

Also, how can I make sure that my xbox updated to DL 3.04?

Its a bad copy I guess, it doesnt need any updates as far as I know. Try downloading again OR if you have a slow connection, buy a disk from shop and copy dvd via xexmenu (thats what i did and it has been working).

[MENTION=25320]omarko[/MENTION] This could be a dashlaunch problem similar to the on encountered by J taggers in BLOPS II, Update your dashlaunch to 3.04 which si the lastest version.That will fix the problem.

You probably didn't install 3.04 correctly, try running BLOPS II if that doesn't work then you didn't do it right.

How does one check the dashlaunch version on a jtagged xbox?

You dont need to check anything, just download Dashlaunch 3.04 and run it like any other .xex file from your xexmenu. Then "install" it from the application itself, and that's all.

I have the game as well, but haven't started it yet, I did encounter the BLOPSII issue which fixed with the new dashlaunch, if this is the same case then that is the simplest solution.
