Hey, so my ISP is PTCL and I'm having some issues so hope you guys can help! So this is some maybe related info from before but I used to play fortnite (PS4) on PTCL with ethernet connected and on asia sometimes my ping would rise to 330+ from 130 for some weeks even though my ping on other servers such as EU was normal and then occasioanlly it would return to 130 which was really confusing. However now I started playing on the PS4 again and I play rainbow 6 siege. The first few days my ping on south east asia servers was 130 or so however it has gone to 230 all of a sudden but in EU im getting 250 so its some weird issue with asia servers again. All my friends who have different ISP's in pakistan all are getting 90-110 ping on SEA servers. I have tried wifi and ethernet and not seen much difference, now the main issue is we got a modem for PTCL a day ago and that one doesnt have bandwidith control like the last one and my connection has become horrible, I get 290+ ping on SEA servers mot of the time (EU has also increased this time) and my ping every 10-20 min spikes to 800+ and I ususally get kicked, and yes I have connected ethernet I have no idea what to do as I used to limit others for a few hours whilst I played but this modem doesnt have the option anymore. This modem does have QoS and QoS queue config but I have no idea how much it helps and how to set it up. If you know of any solutions please let me know, thanks!
