They won't sell heroes. Hats are ofc the way to go. But then again.. LoL is the most famous moba out there and its pay2win (if you know what you're doing).

I heard during Hots session during blizzcon that they will be making free 'skins' for their heroes, like that rockstar Tauren chief skin they showed. That means paid hero/premium map content.

Heroes of the Storm Store Prices

The Heroes of the Storm in-game store can be used to purchase new heroes from a roster of 23 currently available in Technical Alpha testing.


Each time a player wins, experience and an approximate of 500 gold is earned. Gold can also be obtained through completing daily quests.


The purchase of new Heroes can range from 3,500 to 10,000 gold.


By default, the store displays gold currency. However, players have the option to purchase these heroes with real-money currency.

Deso, the Alpha client can be downloaded for free as someone leaked it You play the tutorial and then you can play 5v5 games against (and with) bots
