AoA to everyone,

I have been using an ancient build from 2007, which I now believe is about to go bad (die [emoji16] ) and I have decided to build a new system now.

Here is what I need or need suggestion buying. Please keep in mind that I do not build PC often & use it for a decade full.

So here we go:

Processor: I'm thinking of getting either i5-6600K or i5-7600k

GPU: I'm thinking MSI RX480 (4GB or 8GB which one should I go with) or is there any other GPU I should buy which is more affordable & gives better performance?

Motherboard: Suggest me one with good features including DDR4, USB 3.0+, good numbers of connectors for fans etc

RAM: For starter I'll go with 1x8GB, suggest me MHz (2400 to 3200). I'll buy 2nd stick later

Power Supply: Need suggestions

Case: Recommend me a good one, which is great with air-cooling, doesn't pull in much dust (air filters if possible) etc

Things I already have: HDD, Soundcard, Display (1080p), Keyboard, Mouse, Woofer System, Headset

Important Note: also tell me where can I buy these parts from. Please keep in mind that I'm person on wheelchair & I can not personally go visit shops myself (shop's/person's contact number will be appreciated)

EDIT 1:
Location is ISB
Budget under 1 Lac, keep it as low as possible

Regards~

GPU choice is good. Only go for 8GB card if you want To play at 4k or above resolutions, which means you will also need an expensive monitor.

Do not go for "k" series processors if you don't intend to overclock. Other wise your choice of 6th generation i5 is good.

Motherboard will need to have RAM slots compatible with your RAM speed. Otherwise you will waste money on faster RAM. Plus if you are not interested in over clocking, no need to go for expensive boards.

You can browse "czone" for parts. They also provide delivery service.

My gaming resolution will be 1080p (1x Monitor & 1x LED HDTV).

About OC I might not do it in the start as where I live the ambient temperature is usually high. If any chance of OC later will be not an extreme one.

I can't find i5-6600K on either CZone or Galaxy. Neither I'm finding the MSI RX480 4GB at a good affordable price online [emoji52]

Corsair DDR4 8GB 2400 MHz will be good enough for gaming purposes?

I can't help you with motherboard choice since I don't know much about overclocking.

You can also choose 2133Mhz, 2400Mhz may only give you 2-3 fps more. Better to spend the increased amount in GPU rather than anything else if you want more fps. 8GB should be good enough for 1080p.

I recommend you list your components first before looking where to buy them. Then post your requirements on PG and you can ask your local "computer wala" for the same stuff and compare quotes. I live in Khi so I can't help you with contact info of shops in Isb.

Here are my recommendations:

GPU: RX 480 ~ Rs 27800 (czone)
CPU: i5 7400 ~ Rs 20800 (czone)
RAM: Corsair Value DDR4 8GB 2133 Mhz ~ Rs 6700 (czone)
Motherboard: LGA 1151 socket, ATX, Asus B250M ~ Rs. 9500 (czone)
PSU: Corsair CX 750 80+ Bronze ~ Rs 11200 (czone)
Case: Thermaltake Versa N21 (option available for extra fans) ~ Rs 5300 (czone)

TOTAL = Rs. 81300

You can chose different Power Supply, I chose 750Watts keeping in mind your overclocking requirement and good ventilation (more fans). You may choose differently, just make sure to buy 80+ certified power supply.

If you think you need to upgrade one of the above components, better to spend that money in getting a better GPU, nothing gives more bang for the buck than GPU, only once other components become bottleneck should you consider upgrading them.
