Help with missing shipment

2 years back i watch a news in some Pakistani channel, A postmen deliver a parcel to some old Buzurg,which contain his documents and degree(Send by his parents so he can apply for job) at last he received his mail but one thing was completely wrong he receive it 20 years late, whole freaking 20 years. he was suppose to receive it 20 years back but our Pakistani post office...... I am not trying to scare you just showing you some more victims of our Pakistani Post office.(i know this might have nothing to do with OP case, but i feel like sharing it)

ThANKS Bro for the info and your personal experience plus the solution. that gives me some hope when i read that you could receive your package even after unbelievable duration of 5 months. that certainly encourages me to no stop expecting it and keep trying as long as i can. but another thing is my Friend in USA has talked with them lots of times from his side. its not like he's been quiet all the times doing nothing at all. he's talked complained there and has inquired the box for the times i can't count. but actually he lost the receipt so he told me that its not possible for him to file a complaint against them or can't claim those 100 bucks either. but anyways thanks and please let me know if there is anything else that i should.

Pakistan post usually sucks. They will take ages to update the shipping status, let alone ship the package.

Personal experience in both sending and receiving via EMS (Express mail service) service here. Most of the time parcels were lost or incredibly late when receiving.

For sending not so much, you send the parcel and it gets delivered within 1-3 weeks (depending on location or recipient). Had a couple of lost parcels but they were delivered after registering a complaint.

So yea, don't count on EMS or post office when receiving stuff from abroad. There's some chance the parcel won't get delivered.

What you need now is that tell your friend to file a written complain with a photo copy of the receipt and a letter. They will surely resolve this sooner or later.

You wouldn'd believe but we actually received one parcel 5 months after it was dispatched. out of nowhere it arrived xD

oh thanks f***ing so much. i didn't know the fact that he only sent me PS2 and i couldn't get it and this is drama and its worthless. Thanks for letting me know dudes and i m so sorry everyone i was brainwashed by some douche bag aliens and was mummified and was force to resurrect and live and find a missing box and a PS2 within. i owe you EINSTEIN'S mind and some universe Brothers. just can't thank you guys enough.

Thanks for the condolences Bro but correct me if i m not wrong. but the Boston bombing had just taken place recently and my PACKAGE was sent 5 months ago besides the last update of the box says the box was in NEW YORK. so i think it doesn't make sense assuming that the box MUST have been wasted in BOSTON BOMBING.
