[HELP] Memory Timings - Intel DH61WW

Hello Everyone..

I want to set 7-7-7-21 Timings in BIOS to get the fastest response from this Memory. I have set the timings in Bios.. yet CPU-Z showing that My ram is running at 9-9-9-24 timings .

MotherBoard :: Intel DH61WW

RAM :: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB)
Speed: DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
Type: 240-pin DIMM
CAS Latency: 7
Timing: 7-7-7-21-2N
Voltage: 1.5V
ECC: No
Buffered/Registered: Unbuffered

Your Processor Might Not Be Supporting The Fast Timings So Its Possibly Reverting It To Matched Timings.....Which Processor You Have...??

It Still Shows Settled Timing On BIOS And Yet Show 9-9-9-24 In CPU-Z???

Show Ur CPU-Z Screen And Bios For Better Understanding

Motherboard can support a bit of OCing .. So it should adjust the timings as well.

It is not running on XMP profile. See the 1st pic.. which is showing the current running profile.

in last pic.. it shows how many profile does this ram supports.

I also agree with this guy that this issue could be related to your mobo, my former mobo dg41rq has became faulty within few weeks of use on manual timings 5-5-5-15 from 6-6-6-18 infact the actual timing of my dimm is 5-5-5-15 but due to limitation of board it was running at 6-6-6-18 now i have realized that we should not mess with these things on budget motherboards

Any DDR platform with compatible BIOS can benefit from Intel XMP.

Not Fault...But Motherboard Might Not Be Able To Force Memory To Run Of Settled Timings...Its running In What's Supported
