This guitar of yours. It's... not all that impressive actually, sorry to say. Well, I'm not sure too much, but I don't really know what type of pickups are those in the guitar(s) (lol, you bought two >_>). I can only assume though, that since it is only for $200, they're just... okay. Otherwise the glossy ass body of the guitar looks kinda thin to me. And it's definitely basswood. So don't expect too much sustain from the guitar. This guitar is an 'inspired' knockoff of an 'ESP LTD F-350'. Go google that. Now that guitar is (rather was >.>) something worth buying. Before you start judging which guitar is better just by the looks of it, know that looks aren't everything. INFACT, looks are the least contribution worthy thing when it comes to the performance of the guitar. Besides, well, in my opinion, i'd prefer the esp ltd over your guitar in everyway, including the looks. I like the matte finish.
That said, I kinda feel bad for not seeing this page before. If I had seen this before, I could have guided you to get a pretty good guitar. Good on looks, and quality. Oh well, don't fret. You're only starting out I assume, and if you keep it up, you'll probably be after buying a newer, better electric guitar than this. My first (and so far only
) electric guitar is more or less like yours performance wise too.
