Help me decide please - d5300 vs 700D

Hi,

I'm in the market for a new DSLR (my old Nikon P100 was stolen ... I suspect the PTCL DSL guy who came to check up on my net when my mom was home... oh well)....

I have narrowed my search to the following two:

Nikon D5300
Canon 700D AKA Rebel T5i

I'm torn between these two cameras and having an extremely hard time making a choice... at one hand I love the touch screen of the Canon and their LiveView Aperture control is something to boast... on the other hand D5300 has wifi, GPS, better CMOS....

The Canon's are better when it comes to lens support where as not all Nikon lens work with all their cameras... (I dont own any lens yet)



So - help me decide... which one will you chose... and why? 700D or D5300?




Question 2: I have a 'Film' SLR Camera that hasn't been used much....

Canon EOS 3000 - with Canon 38-76mm 4.5-5.6 kit lens.

This camera is completely digital except that it uses film instead of CMOS.

Will I be able to sell this? And for how much?

bro if i were u then i am going for d5300 because
better image quality , more dynamic range , smaller in size , more resolution , more focus point , bigger screen and large sensor d700 have touch screen and phase detection in video making to focus easily

Thank you - I'm also inclined towards the D5300. I havent had the chance to look at both cameras in real life. I've visited few shops but all they show is the box :/

The new cameras should be launching in a month's time. I might wait and see what they come out with. Obviously they would be expensive but I'll see if the premium price is worth the new model... or maybe it might bump down the price for the current cameras

Surely a little price will drop in current models but not expected too much.... There are lot of people on olx who sale their camera in reasonable price in mint condition and in warranty .... try to look few such guys in lahore meet them personally and check their cams u will save some money...
