Okay, tell me one more thing , The drive is showing used space that is used by the files or do you see any change in free space ? Also check that the folders in which files are located showing any used space by checking their properties... if you see there is some used space but files are not showing then Ctrl + A for selecting all the content, If there is something hidden data then windows will ask do you also want to select all the 120 hidden files etc. Just click yes, Then search the folder by selecting advanced options then search for hidden files and folder,Or other way is to goto Folder options =-> advanced, Tick these options, 1.show hidden files and folder,2. Show system files and folder. then click Ok. if you see your files there then you will need to change their attributes from hidden to archive, For bulk file you can use a software name Attribute Change, its free can be download from internet, And if you have not seen any used space and your hdd is 100% perfect after checking with hddtune pro then somebody else from your home has removed these files.
Thanks
If you can't find solution, then reboot your computer and login with your adminstrator account and try to access these files, You can't also access the files if someone has put security on those files or folder, In this case you got this error you haven't permission to access this folder , files or drive. here is the procedure
1- start in safe mode (command prompt)
2- CTRL + ALT + DEL and open the task manager
3- in Application, click on New Task
4- Click on Browse
5- on the explorer windows that just opened, right click on your C dive then click security tab...
you can now add yourself and give you the admin right on the C
Thanks

And one thing more don't ignore this error "windows can't access your drive", this is very fatal error and is shown always when there is something wrong with your hdd. Google this error and you will see hundreds of question asked on this topic and no one finds any solution instead of replacing their hdds, One more advice for you brother, whenever you get some error google it, and surely you will find some solution after doing some research.
