Hello,

After exhausting myself in search of a data analytics everywhere, i arrived here.
Can anyone please guide me on where and how to get data analytics/ Business analytics certification with emphasis on predictive analysis using phyton in karachi?
I work as a lead O&M engineer in 50 MW power plant and i have swathes of data on my plant vitals, i want to learn this skill as i would be able to do predictive analysis on my plant maintenance, fuel consumption and generation and in O&M domain its a big deal. Currently power plants avail these services from abroad and it kills me the amount they charge on these services. I know you cannot learn this skill overnight it will take work of a year at least.
Currently IBA karachi offers 4 month course, but its doesn't include any reference to phyton with emphasis to excel and its really expensive.

All help is appreciated.

thought about online training? there are many sites there some expensive some cheap (monthly charge)
have you looked into R? good for large datasets....
chk this last date and its free,
https://www.coursera.org/learn/data-analysis-with-python

for certifications, you will have to take online test, best here you will be able to get is training of some sorts.....
their CAP (Certified Analytics Professional) , IBM Certified Data Engineer and many more. look into which suits you.

Well i have looked into online classes especially coursera, IBM and edx online courses,
Its hard to find motivation for online courses especially if you lack the background for it. I would rather get the basics from classroom and then after finding a foundation, i can do online courses.
The certifications you mentioned such as CAP and IBM data engineer, does institutes only take these tests or they provide any preparation for this.
in the crux i want to learn phyton and predictive analysis and do it in a class room at least for the basics of it.
if all fails, of course i will do the online classes.
thank you for your assistance.

1220p is such an arbitrary number, I have to imagine its just to ensure there are no drops from 30.

  • Chandoo Chandoo:
wait im sorry i misread that, 2060 with RT off is not even hitting 50 FPS
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
assuming the consoles have a stable frame rate... lol
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
so the consoles are outperforming it
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
the 1440p RT off is in the low 50's at max. The consoles are offering 1440p/60 FPS ...
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
1440p is higher than 1220p though...
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
    we dont know
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
not really .. the developer hasn't unlocked the frame rate
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
2060 is basically outperforming the next gen consoles here., and thats without DLSS
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
    Thats also 1440p.... not 1220p
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
if it was in the 50 fps range that'd be a notable difference, they likely just locked to an arbitrary resolution to ensure locked performance.
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
goes without saying that you can enable DLSS so the requirements on PC aren't that high
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
RT medium (which supposedly consoles are using) is mid 30's with low 30's in the 1 percent lows, that's .. really not that far apart
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
    PS5/Series X have "RT Medium"...
    Link
  • Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
granted it has all the RT effects on, then again we don't know how well Remedy are using the consoles.
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
the 1440p/ RT on + DLSS off segment is almost entirely sub 30 here. Hovering in the mid 20s
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
this is the first result on google:
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
    you sure about that ?
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
RTX 2060, not even Super variant, can do 1440p30 with equivalent RT effects (and without DLSS). Thats already above 1220p.
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
    instead of RT
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
and always glad companies offer an optional 60 FPS mode for those who want it
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
not bad for $500 machines considering the games requirements on PC
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
1220p in RT mode, 1440p performance
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
No RT lighting, shadows, debris. As expected.
