Hey there,

I'm having this issue since few days that audio disappears every 12mins on my PC wether it is PC Speakers or HDMI output.

Temporary fix is to restart the Windows Audio Service few times.

This problem is very annoying when I'm watching something and suddenly audio is gone [emoji58]

Specs:
Windows 10 x64 1511, all updates installed
Creative X-Fi Xtreme-Audio PCI
PaxMasters Drivers and Tweaks (one I'm using since years)

Some help/solution will be helpful

Yes, using default audio port (rear one) connected to 2.1 Edifier R401 and no don't have another soundcard. Same problem with headset.

Is the gpu giving output for hdmi or onboard display
Complete uninstall and remove realtek drivers. And let windows reinstall them
Did you try switching source after audio is lost

HDMI output is on the GPU. I'm not using Realtek (on-board audio), I have PCI Creative X-Fi soundcard. Switching audio source doesn't work either as audio from all outputs are gone (PC Speakers and HDMI at the same time).
