Help a Noob (re)Build PC

So I spent over 40K to buy a PC and I got ripped off. Now I'm trying to rebuild it. I'm gonna need some (a lot actually) help from you guys. Here is my plan, sell a part and replace it, one at a time.

Specs:

CPU: Intel i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10
GPU: GTS 450
RAM: 6 GB
Motherboard: Intel DQ67SW
PSU: FSP300-60THN-P 300W

I want to start with the CPU Casing (budget). Be patient with me, I'm a total noob. I'd appreciate the help.

which psu are you currently using ? can you tell the specs of your psu ? and which casing are you using atm ?

The first thing that you need is decent psu.

Then a good gpu like 1050 or 1050ti.

Your cpu/ram/mobo will do for the time being.

in 15k don't even think to upgrade cpu mobo or casing. just sale your gpu and psu then you will have around 20k. in 15k get yourself a gtx 1050 gpu in used and a 400-450w psu of corsair/Thermaltake and you are good to go for gaming.

I dnt think your PSU will be a problem for a gtx 1050 as ur PSU is 300 watt and the Nvidia site says 300 watt is required (they dnt mention that u need a good one they always mention a lil more then required to be on the safe side ). So keeping that in mind you PSU is okay. Just get 1050 as mentioned by other members.
However keep in mind that your PSU is ok only for a 1050 or 1050ti. If you are planning on buying any other GPU do consult back here or make sure u have enough power for that.

gts450 is 106W while gtx1050 is 75W, so no need to upgrade psu.
