Heads up for all you guys. You can now buy Pound cards from GAME using a Pakistani card!

So I just discovered something, I was 5 pound short of being able to own Okami HD and Killzone HD but I didn't know anyone in the UK or couldn't find anystore selling it like maximus etc. but then a friend told me that game gives digital cards globally, I thought this would be gamestop / best buy all over again where the digital codes are only available to US residents so I figure why not try.

After almost an hour of placing my order with all the details I got the code and surprisingly it worked! I asked many people if they tried GAME's digital service but they all said its the same gamestop / bestbuy issue of region locked cards i.e based on your address. I entered all my details properly and it worked

just a small heads up to you guys hunting for pound cards. Now you can buy PSN pound / euro cards from GAME without having to worry about their authenticity. I am just glad that now I have enough for KZ HD and Okami HD both of which are awesome and have platinum trophies!

BEST part is that unlike maximus you don't have to pay extra for the card! I was only charged the full 5 pounds and no taxes. So unlike maximus which charges $5+ for a card you can easily save more money!

hopefully I can find the same site for US cards.

So how long did it take you [MENTION=1161]TheBrokenMan[/MENTION] to get your card? For some reason, it says 2 business days when I try to place an order and did they charge you only for the card? I see some type of VAT tax that says %20 or something but the total price is still just £10.

VAT will always be there but is never applied on digital items, on my final bill I was still shown 5 pounds. but for me I placed my order around 1-2PM yesterday, went out to do some errands and my phone syncs emails every half hour, I got the email from them at around 3:00 to 3:20. But around an hour is okay too. I was never expecting instant delivery but still its good that I won't have to pay extra for buying a card now. I am still on the hunt for a similar store for US cards.
