If you have a free PCI Express x1 slot available in your PC then I would recommend spending Rs.1300 on X-Fi Titanium (SB0880) sound card.
i think I'll have the slot free because this sound card i bought was not built in, n i guess i cant use it ifi use sb0880
btw can u clarify what is the purpose of sound card n how will i benefit by upgrading to this one as i dont have much idea about them
btw mother board is asus P7h55-v
Thanks.

You'll definitely have free slot for X-Fi Titanium on your motherboard as it has three PCI Express x1 slots. One slot might be blocked by GPU but remaining 2 slots will be available.

Sound cards provide cleaner and louder audio output compared to onboard audio solutions. Sound cards achieve this by using better quality components, dedicated processing and by being somewhat separate from other electronic components on the motherboard. Sound cards generally also have better quality software package and exclusive technologies at their disposal. X-Fi Titanium is significantly better than Audigy 4 sound card you currently own. That's why I suggested buying it.

also does using audio extension (male to female 3.5mm) reduces the audio quality or not?

In my experience, if it is a good cable (and I'm talking just $5 to $10 cables), you won't have any discernible difference so don't worry.

EDIT: Actually even $5 is too much. Maybe cables less than PKR300 will even sound okay. Get something lot imported/branded or similar from your local market from a reliable seller. Cables are the most ripped off segment in audio fidelity. There are $15,000 cables out there to scam people. Funny as it is, one can get their own custom pure gold cables for a hell lot cheaper lol.

You already have X-Fi sound card so no need to buy the one Hafisohaib is selling.

Have your headphones arrived? If yes, impressions? :)

yes they arrived, been watching s05 of Orange is the new black with them ;)
i thought they'd be bulky but they r very light weight, i dont even feel if i have put them on, sound clarity is really good, u can really hear the details, even of back foot steps or some one talking, sound is different from those of rx 700.

i tried few songs too, bass is less but something that i already am used to haha, but clarity in music is good so i like it though sound with mobile phone was less but its loud enough with pc with sound card.

the ear phones that i have, their sound was louder with mobile phone n now since i have 3.5mm extension so i tried those with pc with sound card but sound was distorting, i guess earphones arent made for use with sound card, my first impression with the hm5 is really good, n i really like them, sound is a bit different than i was used to but the clarity is good, must be because of their flat sound signature.

I would suggest you a portable desktop Dac/Amp over a dedicated soundcard!

Normal ones for now but thinking of momentum 2.0 in the future.
so getting momentum 2 for music listening? Momentum 2 dont require any midfi hardware to drive, they are primarily made to be driven by cell phones and even the most weakest phones Samaung Galaxy S7 etc can also drive them easily(impedance 18 ohms). So no need to spend on a sound card, on-board audio chips these days come with tons of features and can support a wide variety of audio resolution, for example my asus laptop can easily play all almost formats of FLAC files even 24bit 192khz. So dont spend on any sound card etc before purchasing any headphones, u might have to buy audio interface again to fully match. So i suggest first get the headphones, try them on on-board audio and then if u feel the audio is not clean then buy a dedicated USB Dac like Audioquest Dragonfly which has enough juice to power even a good headphone. So dont rush in buying a sound-card etc first try ur headphones when u buy momentum 2

Thanks for the detailed reply.Actually i am not that expert in these things.I am upgrading my rig so i thought hey why not upgrade the soundcard too if its worth it.But i think as you said the audio card on gigabyte Z170X gaming 7 is good for now.maybe later i will upgrade.and basically i am buying momentum because i will be using it with both PC and phones.

save a bit more and get a decent dac dongle (digital to analog converter) a good DAC can make a big difference and plz stay away from all "gamers" branded sound cards, use them with ur current setup, loan or visit any friend who has good audiophile quality amp+dac n if u hear big difference then do spend on dac+amp otherwise dont. These headphones r one of most easiest to drive like i already mentioned (18 ohms) as i have Sennheiser HD589 CS which are 23ohm n my every phone n media device can drive them so momentum 2 would be even more easier to drive.

Audio is completely subjective and we have to ascertain our options based on our preferences and budget. Improvement in audio quality has diminishing returns and we have to choose how much more we are willing to spend for any incremental improvement. Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7 has Creative Sound Core 3D and I think it should sound better than most on-board audio solutions. It also depends on where you want improvement in audio. If you want improvement in music then an external DAC + AMP will be the preferred option. But if you like surround sound effects offered by internal sound card for gaming then internal sound card will be better for you.

In my opinion you should first use your existing setup extensively and determine if and where you want improvement. Schiit Modi + Magni combo, xDuoo XD-05 and many other audio solutions will provide significantly better audio quality than built-in sound card of your PC. But is the improvement provided by those solutions worth spending 20-25k extra is entirely up to you.
